Someone books a Profhilo appointment expecting fuller cheeks, or books a filler expecting better skin quality. Both are avoidable, and both come from the same confusion. Profhilo and dermal fillers are both injectable hyaluronic acid, so people reasonably assume they do the same job. They do not.

What Profhilo does
Profhilo is a very pure, highly concentrated hyaluronic acid formulated to spread through the tissue rather than hold its position. What it will not do is change your facial shape. It does not lift a cheek or define a jaw. It is often described as a bio-remodeller rather than a filler, and that is an accurate description rather than marketing language.
What dermal fillers do

Plenty of people need both, at different times, for different reasons. What nobody needs is one bought in the belief that it is the other.
