Most clinicians qualify once. He qualified as a dentist, operated on faces and jaws in maxillofacial surgery, then went back to university and qualified again as a doctor.

Thirty years of it were spent in the NHS, fourteen as a Consultant Anaesthetist and ten of those simultaneously as Clinical Director, accountable for clinical standards across departments. Anaesthesia is the training that teaches you to notice early when something is going wrong, rather than after it has.

Yes, always. Every treatment at The Plasma Doctor is carried out personally by Dr Corcoran, from the first consultation through to your review. There are no technicians here acting on his behalf.
Yes. It is a proper clinical consultation, not a sales appointment. Dr Corcoran will assess your skin and answer your questions honestly, including telling you if a treatment is not right for you. There is no pressure to book anything afterwards and nobody will chase you.
Then he will tell you that, and explain why. Some concerns need surgery, some need dermatology, and some are better left alone. Being told honestly is the point of seeing a doctor rather than a salesperson.
You do not need to know before you come in. Start from the list of concerns near the top of this page, or answer three questions in the treatment finder, then bring whatever you have landed on to the consultation. Working out which treatment suits your skin is his job, not yours.
