Cancellation policy
The Plasma Doctor, 69b Sankey Street, Warrington WA1 1SL. Effective from 29 October 2026.
This policy applies to consultations booked with Dr James Corcoran at The Plasma Doctor. By booking a consultation you agree to the terms below. Consultations are free of charge.
1.Consultations
A consultation with Dr Corcoran is free of charge and carries no obligation to proceed with treatment. Each appointment is reserved for one client, and the time cannot be offered to anyone else while it is held.
2.Notice of cancellation or rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Where 48 hours’ notice or more is given, there is no charge, and you may rebook at any time.
Notice may be given by telephone on 01925 648 533 (Monday to Saturday, from 8.30am) or by replying to your booking confirmation email.
3.Late cancellation and missed appointments
A first late cancellation (less than 48 hours’ notice) or a missed appointment will not be charged. We will note it and offer you another appointment.
Where a client cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, or does not attend, on more than one occasion, we may require a fee of £60 to be paid before a further appointment is reserved.
4.The fee
The fee is a charge for repeated late cancellation or non-attendance. It is not a charge for a consultation. It is payable in full before the further appointment is confirmed, and if you go on to book a treatment, the full amount paid is deducted from the price of that treatment.
5.Late arrival
If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your appointment time we may need to shorten or rearrange it. A late arrival that results in the appointment being rearranged may be treated as a late cancellation.
6.Exceptional circumstances
We recognise that illness, emergencies and bereavement cannot be planned. Please contact us as soon as you are able. Cancellations in these circumstances will not count towards a fee, and Dr Corcoran will use his discretion in each case.
7.Cancellation by the clinic
If we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment we will give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternative time. You will not be charged, and any payment you have made will be refunded.
8.Queries and changes to this policy
If you have a query about a charge, please email info@theplasmadoctor.com and it will be reviewed within three working days. We may amend this policy from time to time, and the version in force when you book is the one that applies. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
